Jose - Fresno, Adult Program

This month, we are profiling Jose, a student in our adult program in Fresno.

While at UCPCC, Jose says he has learned how to use the computer and how to paint ceramic artwork.

“I’m learning … a little bit at a time, independently,” Jose says.

Jose says what he likes about being at UCPCC is being around his peers.

“I like being around a different variety of people,” Jose adds.

When Jose isn’t in UCPCC’s computer lab or art rooms, he’s spending time with family and doesn’t miss church on Sundays.

“For me, I’m big on my faith,” Jose says.

Jose would like people to know that everyone is welcome at UCPCC.

“There are all different kinds of programs out there,” he says, “but UCP has more, like, a family feel.”
